"Working with Scott in our home is perfect. The privacy, balanced with instruction using our own equipment, increases the likelihood that we will continue to work when we free up some time. Scott uses everyday items to help us improve our physical fitness. i.e.: tennis balls and a sock, stairs, pool cue, belts, etc. Scott is careful to ensure that each work-out session has a balance of activities that include stretching, building strength and improving cardio. He has regular conversations about nutrition and physical activity levels with us. We appreciate Scott’s recommendations to seek medical or holistic support when appropriate and then he willingly consults with these other professionals to carefully inform his work with us. Scott is always accessible. His electronic connections to share personalized programs, nutrition suggestions and websites are valued. Scott encourages us to listen to what our bodies are communicating to us – before, during and after our work-outs with him. He adjusts the activity as we work to best utilize the positive aspects of each routine. Our work-outs with Scott are always interesting. There is a balance between the predictable activities and new ones or adaptations of the old. He is constantly challenging us to do more reps, more weight or more difficult variations. Scott keeps a watchful eye over our exercising ensuring that we are working on the “right” muscle groups, are continuing to push the limits and that our work-out is safe and injuries do not happen. Scott demonstrated and guides us through the workout activities. He is extremely patient with our learning curve as we move toward deeper understanding and improved strength, flexibility and endurance. We appreciate how encouraging Scott is with our growth, regardless of how slow or fast we change. And we have learned new vocabulary from Scott: Cat-cow, hero's pose, lunge, squat, dead-bugs, windshield wipers, fast feet, tight glutes, proud chest, strong core, etc."

"I have to say the reason that Scott is a very good trainer is that he is able to work with a small group and still attend to individual needs yet keeping it cost effective for each of us. I like walking in and having no idea what he is going to get us to do that day. I get bored easily and do not like doing the same thing over and over. I like the creativity and variety that he provides which addresses flexibility, endurance, strength, balance, multi-functional and coordination aerobically and anaerobic alike. Not only does my body get a workout but so does my brain. If any one of us is injured, too tired, unmotivated or still “hurting” from the last workout he is quick to improvise so that we still get a workout to complement, augment, work or develop other muscles."

"Scott is a trainer that listens and cares. He is attentive to your fitness needs and always mixes up the workout to make it exciting and challenging. He makes sure he is alerted of any injuries you may have, and is vigilant in working with you to improve and strengthen those injuries. Scott also pays special attention to diet, and eagerly passes on his knowledge to his clients. Scott is a passionate trainer, and would benefit anyone who is interested in getting into shape, or better shape."
Colleen Heilman
"Scott mixes up the workouts so you never get bored. Scott gears the workouts to “your” needs and wants. The routines are challenging without being “too” frustrating. Workout with a friend and you will stay motivated and have a few laughs."
