Group Fitness Coaching

Guided by our MSB philosophy and our 3-Factor Approach we strive to upgrade group fitness classes in Calgary by offering opportunities for individuals to participate in small group classes (5-10 participants) throughout the week that promise fun, intense, and creatively varied workouts, in a socially engaging and positive environment.  Each class, similar to our Personal Fitness Coaching sessions, will contain a balance of roll release, movement preparation, reactive work, whole-body resistance training, and energy system development (mostly high intensity interval training and metabolic resistance training).  Our goal is to help you improve your posture, strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness, and overall awesomeness while having loads of fun in the process.

Our Group Fitness Coaching classes are ideal for those who enjoy a fun, intense, creatively varied, and socially engaging environment (but still small enough to allow us to emphasize proper exercise technique, movement patterns and progressions).  Because we are social animals, unconsciously driven by social status and a need to be viewed positively by our peers, people often report that they push themselves harder in this group environment, stay motivated longer and feel a sense of responsibility and commitment to the group.  This is also a great option for those on a budget, and perfect for both individuals coming to Playfit Health and Performance for the first time, and experienced, highly-trained individuals looking to maintain or increase their level of fitness.  To find out more about how you can participate in our Group Fitness Classes or integrate our Online Personal Fitness and Nutrition Coaching Program into your Group Fitness Coaching Program membership, head over to our Group Fitness Coaching Program page.
